Meilin Park – Ancient Lychee Area

  • Meilin Park Ancient Lychee Area

A peaceful and tranquil park for taking a relaxing walk. At the top is the San Sheng Gong temple. Keeping to the wide walkways takes you around the park in about an hour. But there are also side-paths for a deeper walk with a wide variety of fauna. One particular elevated section has many folk-stories in Chinese along the bridge fence. Lots of areas for children to play, and spaces to play badminton.

The main entrance to the park is just off Longmei Street, Meilin, at the bottom south-east corner of the park.

About Shenzhen Geek Trails

See Shenzhen in your own time and at your own speed.

A travel guide for Shenzhen (in Guangdong China) written by an introverted geek for an introverted geek. Not your standard commercial tourist fare, but a selection of interesting places where an introvert can explore on their own, or with a friend. And quiet spaces to reflect and introspect.

This includes travelling tips about how to get around, as well as getting to and from Shenzhen via Hong Kong International Airport.

I've recently completed my third visit to Shenzhen in just over a year. It is a beautiful modern city, with lots of green space to relax in.
